Imaginarium 🏛🌌🌿
Wardian cases were the predecessors of modern day terraria. Initially built to ensure safe transport of exotic flora, they later gained popularity as ornate centerpieces of Victorian homes.
This Wardian case presents 𝐿𝑒𝑝𝑎𝑛𝑡ℎ𝑜𝑝𝑠𝑖𝑠 𝑎𝑠𝑡𝑟𝑜𝑝ℎ𝑜𝑟𝑎, a miniature orchid with purple star-shaped flowers and 𝐷𝑜𝑠𝑠𝑖𝑛𝑖𝑎 𝑚𝑎𝑟𝑚𝑜𝑟𝑎𝑡𝑎, a terrestrial jewel orchid with striking venation as well as iridescent lycophytes 𝑆𝑒𝑙𝑎𝑔𝑖𝑛𝑒𝑙𝑙𝑎 𝑢𝑛𝑐𝑖𝑛𝑎𝑡𝑎 and 𝑆. 𝑤𝑖𝑙𝑙𝑑𝑒𝑛𝑜𝑤𝑖𝑖. It is the terrarium of my dreams, therefore called the "Imaginarium"—perhaps not the most sensible assembly of plants to prosper together in real life, but certainly attainable as a painting!
The art print is available in A4 size. Please note that the first pictures are photographs and the final colours of the print are closer to those seen in the last picture. 💜
